Artist Ben Herrington and his one of kind handcrafted birdhouses is partnering with Safe Center!


Ben Herrington attended Corcoran Art Institute in Washington, D.C.

He has been a commercial illustrator and fine artist for more than 40 years. His recent exhibits include the Goddard Museum in Ardmore and the Nesbitt Gallery USAO in Chickasha.

Ben describes his unique birdhouses as Playful Symbolism.

Domestic Violence is close to Ben’s heart, and he has graciously chosen to donate a portion of the proceeds raised from his birdhouses to Safe Center. These donations will be used to fund the Box Car Betty Education Scholarship and ensure that they can be awarded to deserving students for years to come. Safe Center and Ben Herrington are honored to begin, and ensure this scholarship’s longevity to both honor Ben Herrington’s strong and courageous mother, and to create opportunities for students to live out their educational goals.
